Landscaper I
Help create beautiful landscapes of diverse residential and commercial properties. Operate commercial landscape equipment safely, and use power and hand tools to carry out a broad spectrum of landscape and irrigation tasks.
Responsibilities:
Lay sod, plant, water, rake and install sprinkler systems
Install concrete masonry wall units (no mortar).
Abide by all control and best practices landscaping methods
Utilize hand equipment with mechanized moving blades such as gas-powered chain saws
Utilize manual hand tools such as shovels
Mow turf, trim and edge along borders, and blow using power equipment
Prune shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damaged branches
Plant and maintain growing beds and apply bark
W**d by hand or with a garden hoe
Maintain a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with customers
Work near natural bodies of water
Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks
Work from elevated heights such as an A-frame ladder
Work near automotive traffic

Able to safely work with equipment like power saws and landscaping equipment
Capable of cross functionality and working well with others on a team to achieve personal goals, team goals, and organizational goals, and willing to take responsibility for individual actions in order to achieve consistent results.
Able to work in extreme weather conditions (direct sunlight, wind and rain)
Able to lift and carry 50lbs
Able to twist, bend and stoop continuously throughout the day
Able to analyze situations accurately and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
Maintains open communication with owner and office staff.
