Final walkthrough of this completed deck resurfacing project! ✨

This deck originally featured cedar decking and railings, but the existing framing was still in excellent condition. We carefully removed the old cedar decking and railings, upgraded the framing to meet current building code requirements, built a brand-new staircase, and transformed the space with Trex Lineage Carmel decking paired with Trex Transcend Vintage Lantern railings.

The result is a beautiful, low-maintenance outdoor living space that combines timeless style, long-lasting durability, and modern safety standards—ready to be enjoyed for years to come.

Every custom deck should be designed around the way the homeowner lives—and this project is a perfect example.
This custom L-shaped deck creates two distinct outdoor living spaces: one dedicated to outdoor dining and another designed for relaxing with comfortable seating and large umbrellas.
The decking features Trex Transcend® Havana Gold, paired with Trex Signature® aluminum railings for a timeless, low-maintenance finish.
One of the standout features is the custom staircase, designed to provide seamless access to both the backyard and the pool area. The stairs were built with Trex Havana Gold fascia, picture-framed Havana Gold stair treads, and Trex Transcend Spiced Rum risers, accented with low-voltage riser lights for added safety and a beautiful nighttime appearance.
Beneath the deck, we installed the Trex RainEscape® drainage system, creating a dry, functional outdoor living space. The ceiling was finished with black soffit panels and recessed lighting, while wood-grain fiberglass columns add warmth and character. To complete the space, the homeowner enhanced the concrete retaining wall with natural stone, creating an inviting atmosphere that blends beautifully with the landscape.

For this project, we preserved the existing concrete footings while rebuilding everything above them with a brand-new pressure-treated frame, creating a stronger, longer-lasting foundation for years of enjoyment.

The new deck features Trex Enhance® Toasted Sand decking paired with elegant Trex Signature® Bronze aluminum railings, delivering a timeless look with virtually no maintenance. We also built new stairs and installed a matching bronze gate that blends seamlessly with the railing system, adding both safety and style.

Some projects are the perfect reminder that quality materials truly stand the test of time. ✨

For this backyard refresh, we kept the existing Trex Transcend decking, which still looked incredible after 10 years of use. Instead of replacing the entire deck, we focused on upgrading the details that transformed the overall look and feel of the space.

We replaced the aging wood railings with elegant vinyl railings featuring black aluminum balusters, topped with a Trex Transcend Lava Rock cocktail rail for a clean, modern finish. To complete the transformation, the old lattice was replaced with a custom white PVC board-on-board skirt, creating a timeless, low-maintenance design.

This project is proof that investing in premium materials pays off for years to come. With a few thoughtful upgrades, this family can continue enjoying their outdoor living space with renewed style, safety, and minimal upkeep.
