Two levels, plenty of room to gather, and a b**r garden underneath! 🍻

We built this deck with Trex Enhance Cinnamon Cove decking and Trex Signature Bronze railing—a warm combination that fits beautifully into Brian’s backyard.

The spacious 24′ × 20′ first level features two staircases leading to the pool and backyard. A separate 4′-wide staircase connects to the 12′ × 24′ second level, creating even more space to relax and entertain.

Brian added his own touch by creating a b**r garden beneath the deck, making the most of the space from top to bottom.

Thank you, Brian and Kelly for trusting Soteria Decks with your project. It was a pleasure building this for you!

More outdoor living space above—and a dry, usable area below.

This new 43’ × 16’ deck expands the home’s outdoor footprint while making the space underneath more practical with waterproofing. We used Trex Transcend decking in Havana Gold with RDI vinyl railing. A 5’ wide staircase creates a welcoming entrance, while the Trex Signature gate and board-on-board skirt add the finishing touches.

Another deck resurface completed and ready to enjoy.

For this project, we upgraded the deck with Trex Enhance Cinnamon Cove decking, paired with Trex Transcend black railing. The warm tone of Cinnamon Cove works beautifully with the black railing, giving the deck a clean, timeless look.

The existing frame was in good condition, so resurfacing was the perfect way to give this outdoor space a completely new look without rebuilding the entire deck.

Simple combination, quality materials, and a finish that will look great for years to come.

Final walkthrough of this completed deck resurfacing project! ✨

This deck originally featured cedar decking and railings, but the existing framing was still in excellent condition. We carefully removed the old cedar decking and railings, upgraded the framing to meet current building code requirements, built a brand-new staircase, and transformed the space with Trex Lineage Carmel decking paired with Trex Transcend Vintage Lantern railings.

The result is a beautiful, low-maintenance outdoor living space that combines timeless style, long-lasting durability, and modern safety standards—ready to be enjoyed for years to come.

Every custom deck should be designed around the way the homeowner lives—and this project is a perfect example.
This custom L-shaped deck creates two distinct outdoor living spaces: one dedicated to outdoor dining and another designed for relaxing with comfortable seating and large umbrellas.
The decking features Trex Transcend® Havana Gold, paired with Trex Signature® aluminum railings for a timeless, low-maintenance finish.
One of the standout features is the custom staircase, designed to provide seamless access to both the backyard and the pool area. The stairs were built with Trex Havana Gold fascia, picture-framed Havana Gold stair treads, and Trex Transcend Spiced Rum risers, accented with low-voltage riser lights for added safety and a beautiful nighttime appearance.
Beneath the deck, we installed the Trex RainEscape® drainage system, creating a dry, functional outdoor living space. The ceiling was finished with black soffit panels and recessed lighting, while wood-grain fiberglass columns add warmth and character. To complete the space, the homeowner enhanced the concrete retaining wall with natural stone, creating an inviting atmosphere that blends beautifully with the landscape.
The result is a seamless transition from the home to the pool area—an outdoor space that’s just as enjoyable for everyday living as it is for entertaining family and friends.
