This is a front porch to a house in Chester, NJ we had to remove because the block was failing Our Crew removed the (4) large pillars and supported the overhang as they re-built the porch with concrete block, Installed the Stone veneer and installed a Blue Stone top.

We built this beautiful Pennsylvania Fieldstone Labyrinth for a customer in early December. We were excited by the challenge of designing one and constructing it. After doing some research on Labyrinths we found out that you needed to enter it on the Western side so you would be facing East to the rising Sun, symbolic for the beginning of your journey facing the risen Sun. In addition to being representational of a pilgrimage it was also a kind of walking prayer leading you to God or a God consciousness as you reach the center where we installed a boulder bench for meditation. There are many ways to describe a Labyrinth. It is a path of prayer, a walking meditation, a crucible of change, or a watering hole for the spirit and a mirror of the soul.

This was a fun project to do and we enjoyed doing the research to meet the customers expectations.

In the Spring we plan on planting Creeping Phlox and Thyme in-between the paths which we mulched for the Winter.
