This was a fun design to work on with Matt and Christina! They’ve done an amazing job remodeling the inside of their home and now it’s time to focus on the outside. I showed up after the monster junipers were ripped out, making way for a new walkway, fresh plantings, along with a more functional backyard + pool area. Especially for their pugs :) Looking forward to seeing these upgrades come together!

Rachel and Angel adore their pups, but maintaining a yard while preventing their furry friends from causing havoc was a challenge. To solve this, I introduced a few strategic elements: durable ground materials, well-placed boulders to discourage runaway paths and hardy, vibrant plants outside the fence along the alley. The result? A stunning, pet-friendly yard that everyone in the family can enjoy! ✨🐶🐾

I’m slowly emerging from the shadows after a hiatus, both from social media + the vulnerability it demands. Over the past month I’ve been supported by those close to me and helping me get through another calendar year and each day without Michael. It’s still so raw.

This year, I’m on my own again as I head into my eight year as Helios. This is the path: work on projects that bring joy + protect my peace ✨

Yesterday, I dropped off plans for Steve + Emma. They tackled the interior remodel of their beautiful home with ease but their yard was a different story. I'm hoping this landscape plan lightens the load and serves as a guide for them. A fire pit, play structure, veg beds, and a greenhouse are in their future ✨🌱

My dad is an incredible mason. He wants to redo their front walkway - here is a quick sketch of an idea I had for him to utilize his skills! He could us local flagstone to create wider steps, and make equal riser height too. Plus add a small wall in front to hide the foundation. Of course add some plants to soften everything. Simple, but effective✨
