For Aziz and Stefanie, local outages have affected their home and business, a local veterinarian hospital in Arvada. High winds in the winter of 2024 made their main hospital go without power for multiple days. But at home, where they have home battery backup, they were able to stay up and running.

“The fact that here, at my house, I was able to have battery backup and feel that there was a reliable source of power so that I could continue to work during those times was pretty important,” shared Aziz.
