Nixcavating owner, Scott Nix, (not Mix 🤪) was in the Times Call archives section with a picture of him defrosting water lines in 1979. His uncle owned Bradford Construction, and Scott worked for him before starting Nixcavating in 1982.

Meet Brady Nix, GM and Estimator. In true family business fashion, Brady’s been working for his dad at Nixcavating since high school. His hands on knowledge of job site operations, natural talent for quality control, and knack for working well with people make him a priceless asset both in the field and in the office.

Fun Facts:
- Born and raised in Longmont
- Married with two kids, dog, cats, bunnies, chickens and guinea pigs
- Favorite hobbies include camping and riding 4-wheelers…and drinking IPA’s, not all at the same time, clearly 😉
