It's like putting fresh sheets on the bed! 🤪

The CREW just wrapped up an awesome 900 sqft Flagstone Patio and Walkway for a great client here in Longview.

We noticed a lot of pooling water between the retaining wall and his home and knew something had to be done about it. Talks about different drainage solutions were discussed, but ultimately, the homeowner decided to add more value to their property and allowed us to add more utility & functionality to their outdoor space.

All downspouts were tied into a central drainage system and redirected to the back of the property. Making this hardscape'd area even more functional!

Meet the Head Behind Yard Dog Landscapes!

Hey East Texas! I’m Miller Maines, owner of Yard Dog Landscapes. I’m proud to run a small, locally owned landscaping company right here in East Texas. Most days you’ll see me on site, along with a couple of great guys who help keep our projects running smoothly.

You’ve probably seen us around: in our trucks, on job sites, or picking out plants at the local nurseries. But I wanted to take a moment to personally introduce myself.

I was born and raised in White Oak, driven by curiosity, creativity, and a serious work ethic. From fixing up motorcycles to building a supplement company, I’ve always loved figuring out how things work (any other How It’s Made fans out there?).

At 14, my Dad threw me on a mower one day and told me to get after it. Very quickly, I had a lot of resentment toward yard work because it was a house chore, but once you get your first paying client or two, it kind of changes your perspective.

My very first job? Mowing a property and managed to get about 40 feet of barbed wire wrapped up in the blades about 2 minutes into it. I still remember shaking in my boots, thinking the world had ended! But luckily, the homeowners laughed it off, and we still serve them to this day! Y’all know who you are!

Today, Yard Dog Landscaping is a skilled local team taking on tough jobs with creativity, integrity, and hometown pride. While we
still maintain your lawn, we have proudly expanded our services to:
