LCCA Board of Directors spent the day on Capitol Hill advocating for our industry and the communities we serve. We had productive meetings with Representative McEntire and Senator Wilson to discuss the regulations and policies impacting the building industry and the urgent need to make housing more affordable in Washington.

Board Member Travis Buck also had the opportunity to speak about issues affecting our industry locally, including challenges within Cowlitz County that are impacting builders and development.

We appreciate the time and commitment of our legislators to hear directly from those working on the front lines of housing. LCCA remains committed to being a strong voice for affordable housing and responsible growth.

LCCA “Strike Up Some Fun” 🎳

LCCA members and guests gathered for an evening of family fun at our “Strike Up Some Fun” bowling event! It was wonderful to see so many members come out with their families to enjoy great food, friendly competition, and time together.
Members enjoyed pizza and a nacho bar while some hit the lanes and others took the opportunity to socialize and network. Events like these are what make LCCA special — bringing our industry together in a relaxed, family-friendly environment.

Our Salmon Derby was a tremendous success, with over 60 participants, including the 6 enthusiastic young anglers. Thank you to everyone who who joined us, we had a great mix of community members, LCCA members and their employees all coming together for a great day on the water. Seven fish were brought in and the top 5 anglers earned cash prizes. Congratulations to Larry Bochan who landed 1st place with with an impressive 18.3 pound salmon, and to Zack Hector, who came in 2nd with a 17.11 pound catch.
On shore, the fun kept going -our Duck and Bobber Raffle was a big hit, and the Pick-a-Prize Raffle had everyone joining in.
A special thank you to our sponsors Renaud Electric Heating & Cooling, Newrock Homes, Inc., United Rentals and Evergreen Pipeline, Inc. Huge thanks to, Jeri Udd for running the raffles, and a big shoutout to the members of the Rainier Eagles for jumping in to help with the days activities. Their facilities on the deck overlooking the Columbia River was the perfect place to host the event!
Most importantly, together we raised $1500 to be donated to support the Backpack Program.
