Dear customers: If you expect to pay the same price for lawn service as you did last year, go ahead and find a new lawn service other than myself. EVERYTHING is going up. It’s called INFLATION. Gas is up. Parts are up. I cannot mow your grass this year for the same price as last year. I will be adding a $10-$15 fuel surcharge on top of the actual price I charged for your yard last year. I hope you all understand.

Good morning customers. With the seasons changing and the days starting to get cooler, your grass isn’t going to be growing at the rate it was during the summer months. With that being said, I am cancelling all scheduled yards and will move to cutting yards on an as needed basis. This means, whenever you need your yard cut, let me know and I will place you back down on my schedule. I appreciate your thoughtfulness in having me as your lawn maintenance guy this 2021 season. I look forward to serving you in the years to come.

I know it’s so tempting to cut that grass right before a known large rain event. But your yard will retain more moisture if the grass is left long. Longer tops=deeper roots. It will also slow down the current and filter the water before entering the drains, instead of filling them up with clippings.

Also, your grass will grow back at a very fast rate, it must over compensate for the drastic top reduction and has the water to do so. If everyone waited to cut the grass until after, we could potentially hold a lot more water in our soil by letting nature help us out. Not only is this low tech method cheep it’s also great because it only requires a little laziness with a dash of procrastination. Best of luck everyone, at the shop, I try to retain and catch as much rain as possible, it’s the best thing for plants.

Just because it hasn’t rained for the past 6 hours, doesn’t mean your yard is ready to cut. Especially when there is 3” of standing water in the front yard. Please bare with me on this matter. I am wanting to mow just as bad as y’all are wanting me to. I can’t change nor predict Mother Nature.
