Koneco Building Services (KBS) is an established multi-million dollar commercial framing, flooring, drywall, painting, pressure washing, pavers, floor coatings and stucco.

We are located in Longwood, FL. Applicants must be willing to work flexible days/nights//hours.

We are looking for a skilled painter to paint the interior and exterior of structures, buildings and other surfaces.

Painters Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

A motivated self-starter with attention to detail

Knowledgeable in selecting the right material for the job

Have experience in painting with various tools and in various heights while observing all safety measures

Making on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, lift operating, covering fixtures, and attention to detail

Preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.

Monitor correct status of compliance with building and safety regulations

Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory daily

Meet contractual conditions of performance

Review the work progress on daily basis

Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

Analyze, manage and mitigate risks

Ensure a daily summary of work progress and events are submitted

Must possess great attention to detail in completing your daily duties

Summation and/or additional Skills/Qualifications:
Experience painter must have proven experience. Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them. Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns, etc)

Anyone applying for this position must meet or exceed the following requirements for your application to be considered:

At a minimum must have a working knowledge of painting various materials with references.

Must provide two current or past employment references (we need company name, job duties, and a contact at that company who we may email or call)

Worked with employer two years or more in the last five years

Must have a valid driver license with clean record

No Felony convictions as we work on government projects that have security clearance

Must have a reliable method of transportation to job sites.
English and Spainish a plus

OSHA

10 and/or 30 hour safety course is not required but considered a plus

Pay starts at $600 per week and is based on your SKILL, EXPERIENCE and COMMITMENT.
