💛 A Little Farmstand Update 💛

Unfortunately, the Farmstand will be closed again this weekend. 😔

I’ve been fighting migraines and a sinus infection for the last two weeks, and I just started a different medicine in hopes of finally getting some relief.

As much as I love being in the kitchen and making all your favorites, I just don’t have the extra energy right now to spend my nights baking and prepping. I seriously hate having to do this again, especially when I’ve just gotten back into the swing of things, but I also know my limits.

I’m hopeful this new medicine will do the trick and have me feeling like myself again soon so I can get back to doing what I love and seeing all of you!

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of Hickory Hill Farmstand. It truly means more to me than you know. I appreciate every single one of you and can’t wait to be back! 🫶🏻🌻

Due to the forecast for tomorrow, I’m going to keep the Farmstand closed until Saturday! ❤️

But don’t worry — that just means more time for me to prep and bake all your favorites! 🥖🍪🧁

🌞 Good morning!

There are only 4 loaves of sourdough bread left in the Farmstand! 🍞 First come, first served, so grab yours while they last! Please limit one loaf per person so everyone has a chance to enjoy some. ❤️

Did you know sourdough freezes great if you aren’t ready to use it right away? And it’s good for SO much more than sandwiches! 😍

We’ve got some goodies waiting for you today at Hickory Hill Homestead! ❤️

✨ Fresh sourdough bread — just added!
🫒 Bread dip mix — add the ingredients listed on the package and you’ll have the perfect dipping oil for your fresh bread!
🥞 Pancake mix — just pour, add the listed ingredients, and you’re ready to go! I made these in smaller portions so they’re convenient, easy to use, and more budget-friendly. Just pour and go! 🙌
🍬 Freeze-dried candy corn — y’all, this is the ONLY way I like candy corn! 😂🤤

Cinnamon rolls are stocked in the Farmstand! I did change up the icing some so would love to hear your feedback!

Y’all made them disappear in the blink of an eye yesterday, so I went ahead and made a DOUBLE batch today! ❤️

🍞 Sourdough is going in the oven now and will be headed to the Farmstand as soon as it cools!

Unfortunately, one of my little snuggle bugs wasn’t feeling the best yesterday, so my time in the kitchen was limited, and I didn’t get around to making cookies. ❤️ Sometimes mama duty comes first! Will try my best to make some today.

🌱Gardening does NOT have to be complicated! 🌱

I hear it all the time: “I wish I had the land or room to grow a garden!” But let me tell you, you don’t need acres of land or a huge backyard to grow your own food!

I grew ALL of these sweet potatoes for the very first time this year using grow bags, and I couldn’t be more excited about the harvest!

Whether you have a small yard, a little patio, or even just a porch, there’s something you can grow! You might be surprised at just how much food you can produce in a small space.

These sweet potatoes are way more than my little family will eat. Headed to the Farmstand with some!

I love roasting mine in the oven. How do you prefer yours?

We have this spotted proven buck “Spot” that is looking for new home. Expecting babies very soon and need him gone. Excited to see these babies markings 🥰 we just got him for breeding and the babies he had from previous owner were so gorgeous! Wish we had room to keep him around
