J&J Roofing is looking for an Office Assistant / Administrative Assistant to help with running the daily office administrative operations of the company. J&J Roofing is a family owned and operated roofing company located in Pasadena, CA.

The ideal candidate will be extremely comfortable with communicating on the phone, a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks, and be able to work diligently under pressure when necessary (During the winter we experience a high call volume that the candidate will be expected to manage with ease).

This position is ideal for someone who is interested in a stable company, we've been in business since 1994, and that wants to expand their skills beyond the role of Office Assistant. Long term there will be opportunities for the candidate to expand into bookkeeping, HR, marketing, and sales tasks. Roofing has plenty of industry specific knowledge, and thus we expect the candidate to take the time to learn the business, so that they can effectively function in an expanded role.

Our company is typical of the construction industry, and the position is best suited to candidates who enjoy working hard in a casual work environment, polo shirts are as dressed up as we get here.
