I just stepped into a bathroom that honestly feels like it was built in the future 😮‍💨

First thing I noticed… the seat is heated. 78 degrees. And I’m just standing there thinking, WAIT, that’s what you actually sit on? That level of comfort is wild.

Then I hear music playing… inside the bathroom. So you’re just relaxing, washing up, and there’s literally background music setting the mood.
What really caught my attention though is this small detail by the sink. I asked about it, and it’s called a backsplash ledge. At first it looks simple, but it actually makes so much sense. Since there isn’t a lot of counter space, this little ledge becomes storage shaving cream, essentials, everything neatly tucked but still within reach. Super practical without cluttering the space.
And the finish? I thought it was quartzite, but it’s marble. It just ties everything together and gives that clean, high-end feel without being too loud.

Honestly… every corner had a purpose. Nothing felt random.

Think ADUs have to be detached? Think again. 🏠

This attached ADU is connected right to the main house. Closets, ceiling joists, framing all going in. 🔨 Most people don’t realize you can build it this way, but depending on your city and local codes, attached ADUs are 100% an option.

If you missed Part 1, our neighbor Karen (yes, that’s her real name) told us to get off her property. So we did what any good contractor would do. We invited her inside for a tour.

We showed her the renderings, introduced her to the crew, and walked her through the whole vision. By the end she was asking about the tub and didn’t want to leave. 😂

“We’ll be neighbors for a long time. We better get along.” Couldn’t agree more, Karen. 🤝
