Being a part of this years Grand Avenue Arts All Access (GAAAA) with the The Music Center was so much fun. We had so many visitors come through our booth to create these stunning silhouette art pieces. We are thankful for being invited and hope to be back next year.

DIY sensory toy with materials found at home.

Dexterity is the ability to use the hands and fingers with control, coordination, and precision. Sensory toys, like this one, help strengthen these skills by encouraging children to squeeze, pinch, grasp, pull, twist, scoop, and manipulate different textures and objects. These movements build hand and finger strength while also supporting fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early skills needed for eventually drawing, writing, and everyday tasks.
