Journeyman Electrician

compensation: $17.00 - 27.00 per hour DOE

YOUR ELECTRIC SOLUTION has been providing electrical services in the Los Angeles, Ventura and Kern counties for the past 17 years. We have extensive experience working on projects ranging from high end custom homes, commercial spaces, schools, and projects within the entertainment industries.

We are currently looking for a skilled Journeyman knowledgeable in new and remodel commercial and residential electric for short term and long term projects. Position is part-time and may lead to full-time.

Candidate must:
have 5+ years of experience in commercial and residential electric
have California electrical certification
have good customer service and communication skills
exhibit professionalism
have own transportation, and hand tools
be able to lift 50 lbs

We will issue a written and practical/hands-on test to evaluate candidates.

Candidate must pass background and drug screening test.

FYI. For those of you that have lighting fixtures above your spa and the fixture does not have gfci protection, the fixture needs to be 12 ft above the maximum water level.

Special effects school lighting project I installed in Hollywood CA.

Home owners and anyone else with GFI devices installed in their wall outlets, should test them once a month by pushing the test button on the device. The device should trip which indicates the unit is working and will protect you from electrical shock hazards. Make sure you push the reset button at the end of your test to allow the GFI to be back in operation again.
