Nineteen Roses

Artwork by Katie Arambula The name Nineteen Roses was inspired by my birth place - Pasadena, CA With the addition of my birthday being the 19th of July.

I grew up in the Bay Area and returned to LA when I was 17. I love Sugar Skulls, glitter and bright colors. You will inevitably find paint on everything I own.

‘Don’t Look Back II’ Acrylic on canvas✨ I bought the smallest paint brush I’ve ever seen to get the feather details on the wing of the bird. Image like three small hairs as the tip of the brush 😂 kind of fun actually!

Finished my 3rd LED lit painting. This one is called 'The Abduction' I started it back in November and I'm so happy I finally finished it.
This is a 20x24 acrylic on canvas, embellished with real Swarovski Crystals and has LED lights in the canvas which can be set to a 6 hour timer. You can turn the lights on and off if you choose! Kind of a fun night light

My Story

Hi! I'm Katie Arambula. I started painting when I was 19. I am a self taught artist. I was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in the Bay Area. Currently based out of Los Angeles. I've clearly left half of my heart in both locations!

There is no hidden deep meaning behind what I create. Getting a laugh or smile out of someone is what keeps me going. Having a small business has been the hardest, most rewarding thing I've ever done.

Where does the name Nineteen Roses come from?
