Meditation is multifunctional. You don't have to “know” how to meditate to practice it. Just sit there and close your eyes for 1 minute, 5 minutes or 15 minutes. The goal is to silence your mind’s chatter. You might not get there on your first 100 tries but with persistence, you will. 🧘🏻♀️🧘🏻♂️
Give it a try when you feel the following:
✨Calm your nervous system. Use this when you are stressing out at work.
✨Help you manifest your desires. Your Higher Self/Spirit Guides can provide you with insights during meditation. Learn to listen.
✨Bring your attention back to the now. This moment of now is all we have. We can't be in the past or the future. To get things done, we must stay in the now.
✨Feeling lost or unmotivated? When your mind is not occupied by noises, you can think clearly and can listen to your inner voice which provides you with guidance.
✨Do you need to let go of something in your life? Fear, anger, sadness, etc. Meditation can assist you in releasing the emotions behind letting go.
Don't think too much about it. Just sit there. Stay in silence. Listen to calming music or focus on your breathing so you have something to focus on. You might fall asleep. Let yourself do that. With practice, you will learn how to meditate. There is right or wrong way to meditate. 😉🙌🏼💫
