Congratulations to LA Family Housing for earning the 2021 Developer of the Year Homes Within Reach Award!

office42 is inspired by and in awe of the substantial positive force you continue to be in changing the lives of people who have experienced homelessness. And thank you to the Southern California Association of Nonprofit Housing (SCANPH) for hosting these awards and organizing yet another excellent conference this year that addresseses the need for affordable housing.

office42 is honored to be part of the amazing work LA Family Housing does to create permanent supportive housing within the Los Angeles community. These images portray The Willows, an interim housing development where unhoused members of our community can now call home, thanks to 's vision and hard work to help people transition out of homelesness.

This ideal residential deck is finally complete, just in time for the perfect ! The clients are already enjoying the space, especially Moose, their curious dog who did a great job overseeing our last site visit.

The engineering behind this hillside deck was complex, as it included a series of cantilever beams, aircraft cables, and custom steel brackets. We enjoyed coordinating with our consultants to make this beautiful deck float above the Los Angeles hills.

The ReFresh Spot 2.0 mural is complete and has truly elevated this where the community can take showers, do their laundry, and gain access to a variety of resources. The poppies showcase the shining resiliance of wildflowers and celebrate California, while the hands of the community remind the thousands of monthly visitors that they are cared for.

The ReFresh Spot 2.0 beautifcation was a community effort achieved with the help of our many volunteers and donators on Saturday, who painted, landscaped, hung shade sails, and more. Swipe to see progress!

Thank you to all the volunteers, for donating plants, NELA for donating food & Drinks, LA and Cypress Park for donating building materials. Most importantly, thank you , , and for all the amazing work you do and for being great partners. And finally, thank you to Cate from our very own for organizing a successful ! The hard work truly paid off and will be enjoyed by many!

Let's celebrate! It's Morgan's one year at o42! ! When she is not off visiting job sites you will find her keeping it cool, calm, and collected in the office, always introducing us to new music.
