I was able to customize my friend’s axe this week. I was worried that the contours of the handle would make it difficult to engrave, but the did an excellent job. A little help from and to finish off the fill and I think it turned out great. I may be on to something.

That nice line of glue seeping out is a good indication of strong, consistent clamping pressure throughout the boards. These clamps are really nice. It’s helpful to have an idea of how much pressure you’re getting on the gauge.

I recently upgraded to the new Dust Deputy Low-Pro separator. It works really great and I am super happy with it. The lid clamps and lower center of gravity are a huge improvement.

It’s so easy to get at least 300lbs of clamping pressure with one hand with these platinum clamps. I really like these things.
