Landscape Designer – Problem Solver Wanted

Shelly Landscaping is looking for a Landscape Designer who enjoys solving real-world problems.
Homeowners come to us with ideas, sketches, and sometimes just a feeling about how they want their outdoor space to work. Your role is to turn those ideas into clear, buildable plans that our crews can execute successfully.
This position requires someone who is comfortable with numbers, measurements, revisions, and careful planning.
Designs often go through several rounds of refinement before they are ready. The right person will enjoy working through the details until the plan is solid.
What you'll be doing
• Meeting homeowners and understanding their goals
• Developing layout concepts and project plans
• Calculating materials and project scope
• Revising plans and estimates as projects evolve
• Helping move projects from idea → plan → build
This role is ideal for someone who
✔ Enjoys math, measurements, and problem solving
✔ Has strong attention to detail
✔ Is comfortable revising plans multiple times
✔ Can keep projects organized from concept through construction
✔ Has project management, construction, or estimating experience
You don’t need to be a landscape architect, but you do need to be someone who can think through projects carefully and work through the details.
