These beds had seen better days.
Overgrown daylilies, stubborn dandelions, and other overgrowth quietly and consistently swallowed this bed over the years. The retaining walls had started to lean, and what was once an intentional landscape became an afterthought as time went on.
We cleared everything out, reset the blocks on a proper base, installed fabric, and replanted with a mix that fits the spot: a few roses, structured shrubs, and ornamental grasses for movement.
The bones of a landscape can be saved. They just need attention.
