The homeowner had placed straps to support this declining White Oak prior to us coming out. Today’s fall weather made for a beautiful day for us to remove this tree.

We take a lot of photos during a job. They are not only taken to share what we do with you, but more importantly, they are taken due to a deep appreciation of the landscape God gave us. There’s nothing more satisfying than taking a break in a tree to soak in the view. Take time in your day to appreciate the outdoors, whether it be high in a tree’s canopy or from a car window on the way home after a long day.

Vista Pruning is the act of pruning trees to achieve a “pleasant view”. It is an acceptable arboriculture practice when done properly. Over pruning is a thing, and as ISA Certified Arborists, we take caution to strictly adhere to the ANSI A300 standard for pruning. We care about your trees health, and feel it is our duty to be good stewards and advocates of your landscape.

This Beech was Vista Pruned so a better view of the lake could be achieved from our wonderful customer’s deck. We feel so fortunate to be able to enjoy these views while doing what we love.

It’s hard to top a day full of limb walks on this giant White Oak.

This White Oak is being treated for Bleeding Canker by our friends at Waters Edge Plant Health Care. We were brought in to remove some substantial dead wood from this beautiful tree.

Urban Forestry may be where we cut our teeth, but we are no strangers to some good old fashioned Traditional Forestry. This was load 3 on day 3 of a job where we removed 15 declining Pines next to a home in Bumpass. We had a blast, and these amazing customers were thrilled. The logs even went to a local family who will use them over the winter.
