As another school year begins, everyone at CH Gilliam Construction wants to wish every student, teacher, and school staff member a safe, successful, and exciting year ahead!

Today's students are tomorrow's leaders, craftsmen, builders, electricians, plumbers, and skilled tradesmen. The future of our communities depends on the next generation discovering their talents and taking pride in building something that lasts.

At CHGC, we always enjoy opportunities to visit classrooms, career days, and community events to share what we do, talk about careers in the construction industry, and inspire young people to consider the skilled trades. Building a home is about much more than lumber and concrete—it's about craftsmanship, problem-solving, teamwork, and creating places where families make memories.

Here's to a school year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities. We can't wait to see what this next generation builds!

I’m Scarlet, and I joined CH Gilliam Construction in November 2024 as the Business Manager.

Before joining CHGC, I worked for a remodeling company serving the Triangle area, where I gained experience in sales, design, project management, and coordinating projects.

At CH Gilliam, I wear quite a few hats. I handle the office side of the business and all the little things that help keep things running behind the scenes. I’m also a point of contact for many of our clients, help with design and material selections, manage our social media (I'm still learning a lot here 😅), and take on plenty of other things as they come up.

When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my family. I love being on or near the water, antiquing, and getting away to the mountains whenever we can.

I’m thankful to be a part of the CH Gilliam team!

Say hello to Carrie!

As Cam's wife and longtime right hand, Carrie played an essential role in helping build CHGC from the ground up. From managing the day-to-day operations in the office to assisting clients with design selections, she helped keep projects organized while making each home feel personal and thoughtfully designed.

Recently, Carrie accepted the position of Executive Officer for the Franklin County Home Builders Association. While she may not be involved in the day-to-day operations at CHGC anymore, she continues to be an important part of our team and our success behind the scenes.

Her dedication, organization, creativity, and encouragement have helped shape who we are today, and we're incredibly proud of all she's accomplished. We're excited to see the positive impact she'll continue to make for the building industry throughout Franklin County while remaining an important part of the CHGC family.
