Have you seen these tall pink bunches around? This is Allium Roseum, commonly called Rosy Garlic. It is an edible, old world species of wild garlic. Growing naturally to about 18 inches, it blooms in late spring to summer. The fragrant florets are about 3 inches long. The smell and flavor of the bulb is powerful enough to ward off squirrels and deer from gardens., The are suitable companion plants to tulips.
