What if the accent wall… isn’t a wall at all? 👀

This powder room originally had us thinking about adding a decorative accent wall — maybe even stripes. But once we looked at the whole space, there was another opportunity right above us.

The ceiling.

We lightened the walls with Sherwin Williams Snowbound and brought the drama up, using a metallic gold strié finish on the ceiling to play off that gorgeous mirror.

And honestly? It was the best choice.

It’s such a good reminder that when you’re thinking about changing a room, don’t forget to look up. A ceiling color can completely change how a space feels — without adding anything else to the walls.

A nursery in the making. 🤍

Before the pretty part comes the prep — patching, repairing, and making sure the walls are ready for everything that comes next.

For this sweet little space, we’re working with Sherwin-Williams Natural Linen SW 9109 and giving those existing details a fresh start.

But paint isn’t the end of this story. 👀

There’s still one more layer coming, and we can’t wait to show you the finished nursery.

Ever wondered what actually happens during a color consultation? 🎨

A lot of people think it's just flipping through paint samples, but it's really about finding the right color for your home.

I usually start by asking if you already have a color in mind. Then we'll talk about any colors or undertones you know you don't like. From there, we compare options in your home's lighting and alongside your flooring, cabinets, countertops, trim, and furniture.

Every home is different, so my goal isn't to help you choose what's trendy—it's to help you choose a color you'll love living with every day.

If you've been putting off painting because you're worried about picking the wrong color, a color consultation can make the decision much easier.
