Here is a quick outlet safety check you can do today.

Look at the cover plate. Is it cracked, melted, or discolored?

Plug something in and gently wiggle it. If it falls out easily, the outlet is worn out.

Press the test and reset buttons on GFCI outlets. If they do not work, they need attention.
