Louisville Emergency Management issued a 5-mile wide shelter-in place advisory yesterday evening, as the fire from the plane crash involved hazardous materials compromising air quality. Even though the advisory was later condensed to a 1-mile wide radius, the smoke was reported to have traveled more than 30 miles. Louisville Emergency Management Services advised the surrounding businesses/homes to turn off any air intake systems as soon as possible. While many are cleared to turn the systems back on, the air filter is likely impacted. To ensure the highest quality of air for your families, employees, and customers, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND a filter change.
