SAY NO TO KY SB 82
Temporary Elevator License

This bill puts Elevator Workers and the public using elevators in Danger.

Under SB 82 there would not be proper training for Veterans coming out of the service.

The Elevator trade is one of the most dangerous trade out there. Incidents involving elevators and escalators kill about 30 and seriously injured about 17,000 people each year in the United States. 14 almost half of that is people who work on the equipment, according to data provided by the US Bureau of labor statistics and the consumer product safety commission.

SB82 will increased these numbers significantly, by not properly training Veterans when transitioning into the elevator field . We need to let Kentucky Legislators know we do not want SB 82.

Please call or write your Legislators to let them know to say no to Senate Bill 82.
