Steve recently visited a home in Louisville's Highlands neighborhood that's undergoing a beautiful renovation. Part of the project includes removing five old tree stumps from the yard.

In this video, Steve gives a look at the property and shows two of the stumps after marking the exposed roots with spray paint. This helps identify exactly what needs to be ground away for a thorough and efficient removal.

Local stump mysteriously disappears from Louisville yard.

Witnesses report hearing machinery, seeing wood chips fly, and watching Steve work his magic. Authorities have concluded the stump "never stood a chance."

Remember that stump from yesterday?

Turns out it wasn't one stump.

It was a stump guarding an entire rock collection. 🪨😂

Here's the pile Steve pulled out by hand before the grinder could get anywhere near it. We're not saying there were a lot of rocks, but at one point we considered charging admission to the quarry.

🪨🌳 This stump came with a surprise... and by surprise, we mean LOTS of rocks.

What should have been a straightforward grinding job turned into Steve's version of an archaeological dig. 😂

The birthday candles are out, but the memories are still going strong! 🎂🥂
