Update from Salt Lake City!

This Rocky Mountain Power project is officially underway. Phase 1 covers just over 2 miles, starting at Aspen Grove and working down to the entrance of Sundance Ski Resort.

The project consists of a trench that will house Rocky Mountain Power conduit along with UDOT fiber and communication lines. In total, we’ll place approximately 4,000 yards of UDOT flow fill throughout the corridor.

To keep production moving efficiently, we’ve established a reload location at the mouth of the canyon that will service the project with a dedicated truck all summer long.

New Lagoon in Greeley!!

Watch our crew install a lagoon liner! This system is designed to:

* Prevent seepage into the ground and help reduce groundwater contamination
* Provide structural stability and erosion protection for soil embankments
* Allow for easier maintenance and cleaning
* Support equipment loads used around the lagoon

A big concrete day with 273.42 CY of concrete placed on the ground.

Work continues at the WorldPort parking lot assisting Sturgeon Electric with the installation of new EV charging stations.

Sturgeon is currently digging trenches throughout the parking area, laying conduit, and calling ODC once the trenches are ready to be filled.

This project is being handled as a “Load on Site” operation, allowing materials to be staged at a nearby yard location so trucks can reload quickly without making full trips back to the nearest yard. This process helps ODC keep up with the daily demand and keep the project running smoothly and efficiently.
