Mudrooms don't get better than this!

In this Lafayette main level renovation, the mudroom is filled with custom built-in features of White Oak, including a floor to ceiling closet space with a charging station inside, an above washer-dryer cabinets for storage, and a shoe cubby beneath an Ash live edge bench. The tile is a gorgeous Slate with a striking herringbone pattern that flows throughout the room.

Hey everyone, meet Cody!

Cody is a talented, one-of-a-kind craftsman that joined Jenssen Interiors in 2019. He prides himself on his keen attention to the details that may go unnoticed by others in his field, and for Cody, no project is complete until it is perfected with the highest standard.

Outside of craftsmanship, Cody is a talented musician and enjoys building custom instruments and attending concerts. He also enjoys hiking with his wife and two rescue dogs.

We look forward to you meeting this good-hearted, easy going carpenter during your next project!

Talk about a before and after!

In this main level renovation, the old kitchen was completely gutted. We ripped out the old flooring and moved a couple non-structural walls to open things up in the pantry and mudroom.

In the kitchen, we installed new Shaker-style cabinets that are capped in white Quartzite countertops that spill over the edges of the island in a striking waterfall. The new flooring is 3 1/4" White Oak planks, and all new stainless appliances were installed and paired with blackened faucets, cabinet hardware, and lighting to bring a clean and slight industrial feel to the space.

There's a lot more to share from this renovation, and we can't wait to show the awesome results!

That man is Gunnar Jenssen.

Gunnar is a jack of all trades guy with a passion for archaeology, reading, and art in all forms. From constructing handmade instruments and forging knives as a hobby, to designing and building custom hardwood floors, staircases, furniture, and more as a career, he is always busy crafting!
