“An ounce of prep is better than a pound of cure”

This extra effort for a visual can go a long way for a customer. Also helps our guys and all the trades on the jobsite prep for where things are headed and potentially see future problems before they happen.

Next step, frame the new walls and then remove the remaining walls to finally see the new layout!

Where we are vs where we are headed.

Thanks to we’re able to do a full layout of the new master bedroom, bathroom, closet space, and lastly the guest/hall bathroom. While we don’t use it for final selections of material such as tile and paint, it does serve as a great tool for our customers to see the full possibilities of the space we have to work with.

Looking forward to making these designs come to life!

Life is better at the lake.

Gave this old 1968 Thompson wooden boat a second life. It will now live its life out as the boat bar at Shackelford Anchors campground.

It’s all in the details!!

After many conversations with the customer about standard tile baseboards we decided to just make our own. The standard tile baseboard just wasn’t tall enough to match up with the 5&1/4” house baseboard and didn’t have an appealing profile on top. So custom baseboard it was and that lead to my favorite detail of all… the mitered tile into the wallpaper. Very much a case of less is more, gives very clean lines without the extra tile trim or bullnose edging.

Side Bar Action!!! 🍸🥃🍾🍷

This dry bar is just off to the side of the kitchen and is a great feature to the overall space. The client did an amazing job with the selections such as the tile, the thicker countertop, and my personal favorite, the antique brass shelving. It all comes together very well.

There are few subtle but important details done in this area. First we went with a shallow cabinet to allow for more walking space. Unfortunately that left us with a 21” deep cabinet and 24” deep fridge so we reframed the wall and recessed the fridge into the wall allowing both the cabinet and the fridge to appear to be the same depth. Also there is an air return vent at the top of the wall that just couldn’t be moved. Thanks to vents we were able to tile over it, making it as close to hidden as possible.

Gave this bathroom a much needed update. From an old green tub to an infinity shower. Has a few of our favorite details such as crown across the tile in the shower. As well floating glass shelf in the shower and a niche that fits perfectly in tile layout.

Recent kitchen remodel finished up in Wyoming. Lots of sharp details throughout but the clients favorite seems to be all the under cabinet lighting and the handmade tile accents throughout the backsplash.
