Some jobs test your patience, but giving up isn’t in the playbook. This patio was a full-on battle, but we pushed through. 🥾💥

Site Battles:
* Tight access: Moving everything the hard way 🚜
* Hidden footings: Old patio did NOT want to go 🤢⛏️
* Precision cuts: Pulling out the concrete saw to fix chipped edges 🪚✨
* Hazard alert: Barely dodged a wasp nest mid-demo 🐝⚡

When concrete cures, it shrinks slightly. Since the slab is restrained by the ground and reinforcement, that shrinkage creates internal tension. If you don’t provide a planned weak point, the concrete can crack wherever it wants.
