Have you been dealing with low water pressure in your home? This is an old angle stop for a kitchen faucet. When we attempted to replace the valve the old galvanized threads crumbled in my hands. That was one bump away from being a huge disaster. You can see how packed full the angle stop is with sediment and debris. This is a huge indicator that it is time for a water re-pipe. Customer had their utility company inform them
They had been using way more water than normal. After the initial visit, inspecting all fixtures and crawling the entire foundation, there were no obvious leaks. Leading to the conclusion there was a leak under ground on the main water service. We returned on a weekend to help dig up and locate the leak. We found large roots engulfing the existing water service and we determined abandoning the old water line and re-routing the new one was the best long term solution. So we began to tunnel under the sidewalk and successfully repaired the issue and got this customer flowing. No matter the task BenchMark will get it done. Give us a call and schedule today.
