A muddy mess from a rainy day turned into a job completed. Ran a 100amp sub panel and a spare 3/4” conduit to the customers garage before Lehigh Valley Excavating does a complete makeover of their back yard with a new concrete pad.

Ran a new 50a disconnect for a hot tub that got installed today. The customers were very happy with the end result of the cleanliness and cosmetics of the work and are ready to enjoy their new hot tub all in the same day it was delivered.

What the start of a failing outlet will look like and what can happen if it’s not addressed properly. If you have outlets where plugs don’t fit snuggly in and sometimes even fall out, it’s time to get them replaced to prevent electrical hazards and fires. Another safety issue is having outlets not properly grounded back to the panel. Other common issues that can be related are breakers tripping in your panel. Most outlets and other electrical devices will last 10-20 years depending on use and if left unnoticed, can cause major damage. Had an emergency from yesterdays storm where the entire service was ripped off of the house. They now have their service ready to go until the power company runs new wires from the pole.

If your electrical service looks like this, don’t be afraid to give a call to have it tested, inspected, and see if it needs replacement. Your service wire and meter box are what powers your whole home and if left unnoticed too long can create issues with your electric or even become a hazardous situation. This customer had voltage issues because of the old service wire that left his home with only half of his panel working.

Haven’t posted in a while, yesterday I got a call to an emergency where the meter was overheating, had to replace the whole meter base. Safe to say they now have power and a new meter from the utility to have a safe electrical system.
