Strong schools build strong communities, and investing in public education is an investment in the future of West Texas. WTHBA proudly supports Proposition A for Lubbock-Cooper ISD and encourages our members to vote FOR this ballot measure because we recognize the importance of properly funding our public schools and preparing the next generation for success.
Lubbock-Cooper ISD's Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs play an important role in workforce development, providing students with opportunities to explore skilled trades, technical careers, and pathways into industries that keep our local economy growing. For our homebuilding industry, developing a strong, skilled workforce is essential to meeting the needs of our growing communities.
Proposition A also provides an opportunity to bring additional state education funding back to West Texas, helping ensure our local schools have the resources they need to serve students.

Prop A eliminates LCISD’s budget deficit and protects our teachers and students. It costs the average LCISD home about $5 a month.
