WTHBA CEO Victoria Whitehead represented West Texas nationally today at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Association Management Conference, the annual gathering of HBA Executive Officers from across the country!

Her session focused on bylaws, policies, and structuring HBA leadership for long-term growth, sharing strategies to strengthen governance, navigate change, and build stronger associations for the future.

We’re proud to see West Texas represented on the national stage!

What does advocacy mean at WTHBA?

It means being a voice for our local homebuilding industry and for the homeowners and future homeowners our industry serves.

Decisions made at the local, state and national levels can impact how our community grows, the cost of building and owning a home, and the ability of families to achieve homeownership.

WTHBA works to stay informed, represent the interests of our members and advocate for policies that support housing affordability, responsible growth, workforce development and safe, quality construction.

At the end of the day, a strong homebuilding industry and strong communities go hand in hand. Our advocacy efforts are about supporting the people who build our homes, the businesses that make it possible and the families who call them home.
