A lot of people assume epoxy countertops look like a garage floor on your kitchen island.

They don't. Epoxy countertops are poured seamless and can be worked to mimic the veining and depth of granite or marble, at a fraction of the replacement cost of natural stone. Reach out to Ironclad Surfaces if you want that stone look for your kitchen or bath.

Minutes. That's all Jacob gets to get this right.

See how the flake pattern goes dense up front and thins out toward the back wall? That's the broadcast window. Once the base coat is down, Jacob's got minutes to get flake into the wet epoxy evenly before it starts to set, and that timing is what makes or breaks the finished look. Questions about flake epoxy for your space? Give us a call.

Most floor failures start before the coating ever goes down.

A coating is only as good as what's underneath it, and that's exactly what diamond grinding fixes. We use industrial grinders to strip old coatings, glue, mastic, and paint, and knock down high spots so your new floor actually bonds instead of bubbling and peeling within a year. Available on its own if you're prepping for tile or another install, or as the first step in any system we put down. Call us for a free estimate on floor grinding.

A forklift and a pickup truck don't put the same stress on a floor.

Commercial coatings need to be specified for the actual traffic and chemicals your business produces, not a generic system pulled off a shelf. Call us to talk about what your warehouse or shop floor actually needs.

Some floors just hold up. A metallic floor gets pointed at.

We hand-work pearlescent pigments into the epoxy, so no two floors turn out the same, on garages, showrooms, and home bars around Lubbock. Call us to talk about a metallic floor for your space.

No two metallic floors ever look the same.

A metallic epoxy floor isn't just poured and left to sit, it's worked while it's still wet. Those pearlescent pigments have to be hand-manipulated into the epoxy before it cures, and how that's done is what creates the marbled, one-of-a-kind pattern. Rush it or skip the technique and you get a flat, uneven finish instead of that high-end look. Every metallic floor Ironclad installs is worked by hand for that reason, no two ever come out the same. Questions about what a metallic floor could look like in your space? Send us a message.

Same owner on every call, every time.

Ironcald Surfaces isn't built around chasing a one-time job. When you call, you're talking to Jacob Caldwell, the owner, who has 20+ years of hands-on coatings and surface prep experience and still shows up to do the work himself. No bait-and-switch, no crew you've never met, just a straight conversation from quote to completion. That's how a business grows on repeat calls and referrals instead of one-off sales. Have a floor project in mind? Call Jacob and talk it through.

Triple digits don't stop at the sidewalk in Lubbock.

Lubbock pavement is still hitting triple digits in August, and that heat doesn't stop at the sidewalk, it goes straight into the slab. Hot concrete cures differently, moisture moves through it differently, and a coating installed without accounting for that will fail early no matter how good it looks on day one. That's why every Ironclad job starts with a moisture test on the slab before we ever open a bucket of coating, heat or no heat. We time installs around surface temperature, not the calendar, so the work holds up as Lubbock heads into fall. Got a garage or patio that's been through the wringer this summer? Ask us about floor prep and epoxy floor coatings, or request a quote.
