On May 26th two MDOT workers were hit and killed on U.S. 127 in Ingram County. Our thoughts and prayers are going out to their families, friends, coworkers, and anyone affected by this tragedy. Working in this industry we are well aware of the dangers of working on Michigan roadsides. Please remember to slow down in construction zones - these are hard working people with families and deserve your full attention.

Last week Jami Klomp (HR Manger) & Megan Jaglowski (4th year Carpenter Apprentice) represented Hardman Construction at MiCareerQuest West Central. They tested students’ construction knowledge with a game of Jeopardy and had them recreate the iconic “Lunch atop a Skyscraper” photo providing a copy of the photo to students. MiCareerQuest is put on each year by the team at Michigan Works! West Central to introduce middle and high school students to high-demand industries through interactive experiences with local employers. Thank you to Jami and Megan for volunteering to represent Hardman and to Michigan Works! West Central and all the volunteers that make this happen every year!
