I'm kicking around the idea of hanging my shingle and getting back to making sawdust again. If you're visiting after reading my ad on Facebook marketplace, welcome! Have a look at my photo's section to see all of the things I've made for people so far, and get an idea for the services I offer. As I become able to take on larger projects, I'll be sure and post back here and let y'all know. Thanks for the visit, and feel free to shoot me a question if you have any.

"What is the story behind the painted saw?" A question I've been asked a few time since I started this page. My 'shop' takes it's name from the saw pictured below. That saw, along with a few others, once belonged to my grandmother who we all called Gram. On one of our visits to her house in the mountains of North Georgia, we found that she had painted several different types of saws and was now using them to decorate the different rooms throughout her home. Gram was always painting or making something, and I imagine that's where I get part of my creative side (by way of my mother, of course.) When Gram passed in 2020, my mother asked if there was anything of hers I wanted her to save. The only things I asked for was one of her painted saws, and one or two of her oil on canvas paintings. In honor of my Gram, I named my shop after this saw.

From beginning to end, this coffee table build was a learning experience. But it’s done, and I’m on to another project. One I hope will attract the business of some of my fellow DoD and military folks…stay tuned for more on that later!
