This is what we do. ⚠️⚠️ ATTENTION I TOOK THE TIME TO WRITE THIS TO HELP PROTECT YOU WHEN YOU GET YOUR NEXT ROOF.
1. If there are trees around your house 🌳🌴🌲 it's important to remove branches around the house, to help avoid damages in the future. ( You will be surprised how many homeowners get a new roof & after a short period of time their roof gets damages because a branch fell & damaged the roof. )
2. We remove your shingles & felt down to the decking.
3. Once everything is removed we provide a 360 point inspection test to make sure your decking is up to code.
4. All the decking, rafters, fascia, or soffit that is compromised will be replaced, just like the decking you see in this picture. ( This has to be done because if your decking is damage, the nails will not be properly secured causing leaks in the near future. Sometimes loosing your shingles when there is wind.)
5. Remove all loose nails & make sure everything is secured & there is no loose boards.
6. Next the drip edge is installed around the perimeter of the house.
7. Now we will install the underlayment / synthetic felt through out the roof.
8. Time to install metal flashing or ice & water sheild to all the valleys for extra protection.
9. Install all wall flashing & chimeny flasing.
10. With a chalk line we now mark lines on the roof for extra peace of mind so that your shingles are going on straight.
11. We now install the starter shingles around the perimeter of the house.
12. Excitingly now its time to install the shingle using 6 nails per shingles.
13. As shingles are being installed we replace will replace all pipe jacks, vents, turbines, & all line items with new ones.( You will be surprised how many homeowners have new roofs with old rusted banged up roof lines items, because roofer is trying to enhance his profit margin by cutting cost on material. This action will cost you more in the long run.)
14. Install ridge vent to the ridge of the house were it is needed. ( It's important to make sure your roof has the proper ventilation system to help lower energy cost & this also helps with the lifespan of the shingles.)
15. Now time to add the hip & ridge shingles.
16. We make sure to caulk all your exposed nails with roofing sealant & also all areas were sealant is need.
17. Make sure to clean up all job related debis & it's all in the dumpster ready to be hauled away.
18. At the end we will do a magnetic sweep to make sure we get most of the nails off the ground around the house. ( You be surprised how easy it is to step on a nail, get hurt, or just end up with a flat tire because this process was not done.)
19. We now show off our workmanship to the homeowner by doning a walk around.
