Friends, please continue to keep the folks who have been affected by hurricane Helene, as well as their pets, in your thoughts and prayers. We are sending a team to NC as soon as we can get our gear together to assist in Search and Rescue Operations.
I will be going to work Pippa, Kimber and Riley, while my wife, Carol, will be accompanying us in the capacity of a paramedic. We will be meeting up with other teams, including our friend Megan from Mid-Carolina K-9, to help in whatever capacities we can.
This is going to be a challenge, we know, and I am sorry that we will be unavailable for tracking for the next few days (we are not sure just how long we will be there), but if we can get cell or internet service, we will continue to provide advice and suggestions. Meanwhile, please be patient with us.
If anyone would like to donate toward expenses, it would be greatly appreciated, as we have already very nearly depleted our company savings preparing to deploy to NC.
