In a time when so much seems to divide us, Dolly Parton was one of those rare people who brought us together. She was loved across generations, backgrounds and beliefs not only for her music, but for her humor, humility and enormous heart.

Her legacy goes far beyond the stage. Through her Imagination Library, she put hundreds of millions of free books into the hands of children. She funded countless scholarships, supported children's hospitals, and gave millions to families who lost their homes in the devastating Tennessee wildfires.

Dolly never forgot where she came from and spent a lifetime giving back.

At a time when America struggles to agree on almost anything, we could agree on Dolly.

A songwriter. An entertainer. A philanthropist. An American original.

Rest in peace, Dolly. Thank you for the music, the laughter, and for reminding us that kindness can still bring people together. ❤️
