Sometimes you don’t need to change everything to make a BIG difference. ❤️

For this young couple, we started by creating a beautiful stone fireplace feature wall, adding a new electric fireplace and recessed lighting that completely changed the feel of their living space.

Then we moved into the kitchen, installing a beautiful glass tile backsplash and under-cabinet lighting — and just look at the difference! Those updates completely brightened and refreshed the kitchen.

Jack and I really enjoyed this project. They’re a young couple, and somewhere along the way they started feeling a little more like our own kids than customers. ❤️

That’s the part of remodeling we love — improving the home, but also taking care of the people who live in it.

A finished basement doesn’t have to be complicated to completely transform a home.

For this project, the goal was a clean, comfortable and functional space with a modern, streamlined look.

✔️ Finished walls
✔️ Black-painted open ceiling
✔️ Recessed lighting
✔️ Fresh paint
✔️ New trim & doors
✔️ Carpet to complete the space

The black open ceiling adds character while keeping the basement feeling open and spacious. The finished walls, lighting and fresh details brought everything together beautifully.

This one hits a little differently. ❤️

We’re used to sharing beautiful kitchens, bathrooms and finished remodels. But this project is different.

This Williamstown family experienced a devastating house fire, and now we have the opportunity to help them put their home — and a piece of their life — back together.

Coming from healthcare, caring for people has always been a big part of who I am. In a strange way, restoration brings that same purpose into construction. You meet people during a really difficult moment, help them navigate what comes next, and hopefully leave things a little better than you found them.

For AKD, this is more than rebuilding a house. It’s taking care of the people who call it home. ❤️🏠

This is one of those moments that makes me stop and smile. ❤️ Watching my sons at this age, sitting with Jack, talking business, jobs, stocks, money, and plans for the future.

It feels like yesterday they were little boys, and now I’m listening to grown men talk about building careers, making smart moves, and what comes next.

Jack may be leading the meeting, but as their mom, I’m just sitting back thinking… when did my boys grow up? 🥹
