The Apostle Paul in Romans Chapter 7 uses the example of marriage to illustrate to Jew and Gentile the binding legality of God’s moral law as long as one lives but because of Christ who died to fulfill the righteous requirements of the law that both Jew and Gentile could never achieve, they are freed from the requirements of the law because they have declared righteous because of Christ’ atoning death, (Rom 3:21-26; 5:1-2; 5:10; 7:1-6 CSB). 🙌🏻 Should we abuse this grace we have been given? Not at all but it should spur us to offer ourselves daily as a living sacrifice, (Rom 12:1).
