25 Years with Hytech Roofing

In 1999, Matt Langstraat joined Hytech Roofing as a young laborer. Over the next 25 years, he became a foreman, a service technician, a service manager, and today, a project manager — helping guide some of our most meaningful and complex projects.

From days on the roof to leading teams and mentoring others, Matt’s impact runs deep. He’s grown alongside Hytech, but one thing has never changed — his thoughtfulness, integrity, and care for people: coworkers, customers, and the community.

Outside of work, Matt is a devoted family man and a genuine friend — the kind of person who leads with faith, humility, and heart. Those same qualities are what make him such a valued part of our team and our culture.

Matt, thank you for 25 years of dedication, craftsmanship, and leadership. You’re an incredible part of who we are and what we’ve built together.

With both gratitude and celebration, Hytech Roofing would like to share the news about Dan Gross’s well-deserved retirement, following 41 years of hard work and leadership. Dan’s time at Hytech is concluding July 18.
Throughout his time at Hytech, Dan exemplified our core values - Trustworthy, Dependable, Caring, and Professional - and played an important role in serving our customers and supporting our team.
Dan’s professionalism and hard work have left a lasting impact and he will be missed.

We recently completed the roofing on a new Savi Bank location in Anacortes, with Quantum Construction. We utilized Carlisle Sureweld 60 mil TPO membrane and installed all the roof-related sheet metal flashings

Excited to be a part of this renovation. Transforming an old leaky metal roof into a brand new 80 mil TPO membrane roof with a 30-year NDL warranty from Carlisle SynTec Systems!

Work is set to be completed by early August; interior improvements are next
