Job i finished this wk for some great customers in Moline. This was in bad shape and even i was amazed on how the bad sanded out. 2rms were a different wood and color. The Dining rm was original to home. Now all 3 are seamless and Flow. Applied 3 coats of oil base poly. Will dry a semi-gloss. Really is a Jaw dropper in person😍

You can see how uneven the floors are in before pics. Took lots of sanding to flatten back out. Sanded and applied 3 coats of real oil base polyurethane.

I have to travel to Bettendorf to get this polyurethane for every job. Illinois does not carry REAL oil base poly because of VOC laws. There is a Huge difference in this poly. It will last 3X as long as water base or the so called "oil" they claim on the cans here in IL.. has a self leveler, defoamer so there is zero bubbles. I am 1 of the last in this trade to use it. Also most only T-bar 1 thick coat, so they don't have to come 3 days to coat. I apply 2 then sand lite and apply 3rd.

Geneseo job i finished today. Orange be gone. It had lots of layers of old poly. Someone put a water base coat on top of old oil base. It was flaking and had lots of previous sander marks n dips. Sanded and applied 3 coats of oil base polyurethane.

People ask all the time, well i tried it and it wouldn't come off???
Well it's not easy peezy, you got about a 100 more pads at different grits to get it off. Then all the marks from sanders out or when you polyurethane it, the marks will stick out bad. If you don't get all the filler and old coating out of grain the new coating wont stick or look right.
