A homeowner in Woodinville Neighbors had a leak in their yard that was detected by Americanleakgo Detection. One the leak was located I made a quick repair using two brass couplings and a 9” brass ni**le.

The pipe was 1” thick walled polyethylene pipe which was in good shape. The leak was most likely caused by improper pipe separation between their sewer line along with poor backfill material.

It wasn’t necessary to do a full replacement. The repair was a more practical approach to getting them back into service.

Got to do something a little different today!

A customer in Monroe wanted two shutoff valves installed for their house and ADU. Had to make a couple trips to the plumbing store to get this one right. They had two types of 3/4” polyethylene pipe (thin walled and thick walled) which required different fittings.

It took a little longer than expected but got it done nonetheless!

Another replacement complete!

Stephanie West had leak on her water line right by the foundation of her house. She decided to go with a full replacement and went with a 1” polyethylene pipe.

Although one could argue that copper is superior, poly still has its benefits that copper doesn’t. It can expand and contract under cold and hot temperatures, it’s been proven to have a better taste when stagnated, and the best of all: its cheaper than copper.

It’s always rewarding knowing, whichever type pipe someone goes with, that it will last them a lifetime.

Bev Gardner had a leak under her driveway and made the call to get it fixed and decided to go with a full replacement as well! Went from a 27 year old poly line to brand new type-k copper.

You never know what you’re going to find in underground work… this one required some tough digging through clay large rocks. Nonetheless, it was complete in 7 hours.

I’m so glad we got Bev and her family back in service and a brand new line at an affordable price!

25 feet of brand new Type K copper from the meter to the house. Got Katherine Wimble Fox and her husband back in service after over a week with limited water.

I’m so thankful for Katherine giving me the opportunity to upgrade their water service and fix their leak. This is only the beginning!
