This is a front porch at a house where we just quoted the garage, and it's a great add-on.

The square footage cost is the same as a garage floor coating, and we don't charge a project minimum on something this small if you're combining it with a garage. It brings a lot of extra curb appeal to the home.

A lot of customers want the floor coating carried up the wall, typically four to six inches.

That's called cove. It's a popular choice for wash bays and general cleaning, pets, washing down the space, because it keeps the water on the floor instead of seeping through the foundation.

On site for an estimate today, quoting a basement space plus the garage upstairs.

Two things I look for: the condition of the concrete, so we price any repair work accordingly, and the square footage, which I sketch out and measure with a laser tape. Once I have both, we can put together an estimate so you can see the price of your project.

Back at one of our favorite jobs of the summer, a double broadcast quartz patio we finished this past spring.
