When was the last time you cleaned your septic tank outlet filter? We recommend cleaning them at least 2x a year to help prevent unexpected backups and a big mess!

‼️Boone County: If your home was built after 1998, you probably have an outlet filter.

Winnebago County: They aren't required, but you may still have one!

Now that’s a septic tank!

A monster 2,000-gallon septic tank going in for this 5-bedroom house!

These tanks are so big they have to be delivered and set in two separate pieces. Once in place, the sections are joined together and sealed with tar to create a watertight seal.

Luckily, the house had been vacant for a long time, so the roots didn't get much beyond the distribution box and header lines. This repair was fixable but root damage can quickly lead to major septic repairs and expenses. Always keep trees a safe distance from your septic system!

This septic tank replacement was required after the gas company directional bored a gas line straight through the center of the tank 😳

It was wet, muddy, and smelled like money yesterday 💩. We had a tank that hadn’t been touched in 30 years 😳! Thankfully, the crust buster made quick work of a tough job. On top of that, the cast iron outlet line was plugged, causing the tank not to drain properly.

Spring break means extra time with the little guy and the chance to introduce him to the trade little by little!
