5:54PM Update: I am still tracking a line of showers and thunderstorms; gusty to damaging winds are the main threat isolated tornado can't be ruled out; that threat appears to be decreasing some. There have been reports of down trees and some damage across the mountains and foothills; statewide, nearly 90k customers are without power. The Severe weather threat is over for areas west of the blue line on the map below that, includes the mountains and most of the foothills.

ALC skidder operators have made a super creek crossing using bridges and buffer trees through the Streamside Management Zone, using brush to eliminate any rutting on soft ground.

The CLA Chairman, Chip Capps has released a statement below in support of Bobby & Lori Goodson's recent decision.

Bobby & Lori were two of the first people I met when I began my employment with CLA and I can say without a doubt a friendship was immediately formed. They have been one of the largest voices in the logging industry and support your association in every way possible. I have called on them many times and they have always been willing to step up and jump to the plate whenever needed. We want them to know that the CLA offers them that same support and wish them the absolute best in their next chapter.
